Publish your creative writing in Peninsula Pulse
Write On, Door County, in collaboration with the weekly publication Peninsula Pulse, seeks stories, essays, poems, and other pieces of creative writing to appear in a weekly literary page.
Writers of all ages and experience levels with an affinity for the Door Peninsula are invited to submit work for consideration. We are especially open to reviewing work from K-12 students, as well as senior citizens.
Essays, memoirs, and other nonfiction work should be 200 – 1,000 words. Short stories should be up to 2,000 words. In general, poems should be no longer than one page. Longer works may be accepted and serialized over several issues.
There is no fee to submit your work. A committee of volunteers from Write On will review all submissions and make selections for possible publication. The editors of the Peninsula Pulse will choose works on a space available basis.
Write On will attempt to contact writers when their work is scheduled for publication. Please do not contact the office to inquire about the status of your submission.
