Immediate Deadline (April 1): Paid conversations and storytelling with elders

By admin No comments

Are you a visual, literary, or performing artist with experience in teaching your artform, and interest in working with older adults? Do you live or work in Brown, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon or Wood Counties? If so, the Wisconsin Arts Board and TimeSlips encourage you to apply to be part of an 11 week, part-time Wisconsin Tele-Stories project! This project will pair artists with elders with the goal of reducing isolation and loneliness through a series of weekly conversations, and the creation of a collaborative piece of art. We know from experience that this project can add joy and meaning into the lives of both artists and elders.

The project begins in late April and concludes at the end of June. Artists participate from the comfort of their homes for 10 hours/week, with compensation of $20/hr. Please email applications to jobs@timeslips.com by the April 1,2021 deadline.

The job description and application information can be found here: https://artsboard.wisconsin.gov/Pages/FeaturedStories/WAB+TimeSlips.aspx
